Vote Woll this Fall!

This year will be the first time that Juneau is voting by mail! I’ve put together some FAQs about how to vote in the CBJ municipal election on or before October 6.

Where do I need to live to vote for you?

-In Juneau! Whether you live out Thane, in the Valley, Downtown, Douglas, or Auke Bay and beyond, every resident votes for every Assembly seat, regardless of the district in which they live.

Do I need to be registered to vote?

-Yes! To vote in the October 6 municipal election, you must be registered (or have updated your registration) by Sunday, September 6, 2020. You can register/update registration on-line at: https://voterregistration.alaska.gov/

How do I get my ballot?

-Ballots will be mailed to registered voters on September 15. If you will be away, you can apply to vote at a temporary address here by September 29, 2020.

What do I do with my ballot?

-You will be able to return your ballot in a secure drop box, a Juneau ''Vote Center,'' or mail it with first class postage. There will be instructions with your ballot!

What if my ballot gets lost in the mail?

-In the event that you or someone else misplaces your ballot, you will be able to vote in person at a Juneau Vote Center. Make sure to wear a mask!

How do I then vote in the national election in November?

-Alaskans can vote absentee for State and Federal offices for any reason by applying here (online and paper versions): https://absenteeballotapplication.alaska.gov/
